IMPROVE receives the DEUSTO Research Social Impact Label

The Basque University of Deusto, within the framework of its 2025 Deusto Research Social Impact Label call, has awarded the IMPROVE project as one of the research initiatives that generate significant social impact.

This recognition highlights the project's commitment to knowledge transfer to society and its real contribution to social transformation through research.

About the DEUSTO Research Social Impact Label

This label is awarded to projects demonstrating potential for significant social transformation by:

  • Aligning with key societal goals: Contributing to Sustainable Development Goals, European Commission priorities, or regional strategies like the Basque Country's RIS3/PCTI Euskadi 2030.

  • Engaging non-academic partners: Collaborating with entities and individuals outside the university.

  • Achieving broader impact: Ensuring research results are taken up, used, and valued by external stakeholders and disseminated effectively to the target audience, going beyond purely scientific contributions.

Essentially, the label highlights research that seeks to create positive societal change. To date, 59 projects have received this recognition.
